About us:

After spending quite some time as a volunteer in Kobe immediately after the Hanshin Earthquake I saw how much food and supplies were needed to help people in difficult situations. (And how appreciative people are to receive them.) I also learned the advantages of Networking with others to get the Job done.

After spending another year gathering supplies and sending supplies and support to volunteers in Kobe. I started to read about the Homeless problem here in Japan and felt that it a good idea to shift my volunteer efforts towards the Homeless here in and around Tokyo.

That's where the Family Supply Line and Tokyo Homeless Project got started several years back. We are just a few people Networking with each other to try to help the situation. Now times have changed and there are many other "Volunteer Groups" involved with financial backing and things are changing for the better.

Over the years we've had favorable newspaper articles and I was once a nominee for Who's Who's Man of the Year for our efforts with the homeless. Companies, Department Stores and Camping Wholesalers have donated clothing and supplies over the years. But with the present economy and cutbacks many of these Larger Stores are no longer able to help. So that is why we've asked individuals, organizations, groups and families to please try and help. And that's where we are at today in our efforts.

The whole world loves to watch those who make things happen, and it rewards them for causing waves of productive enterprise.

Ralph Marston says, "Your limitations are not imposed on you. They are accepted by you." You are not limited to the life you now live. It has been accepted by you as the best you can do at this time. Any time you're ready to go beyond the limitations currently in your life, you're capable of doing that by choosing different thoughts.

God Loves each one as if they were the Only One. You or I or a Homeless person is not lost in the Faceless Crowd called Humanity. We're each unique in His Eyes and only Present Circumstances (possibly brought on by Illness, Job Layoffs or Unforeseen Circumstances) make us look at each other Differently. Someone once wisely said, "If not by the Grace of God, there go I."

When other helpers fail, and comforts flee, Help of the helpless, O abide with me! Swift to its close ebbs out life's little day;
