*Alert* In America about 80%
of the working class families are said to be about two pay
checks away from being homeless. I wonder how Japan
compares??? |

Don't Let the Pace of this
World Control You. "Dreams are a projection of the
kind of life you want to lead. Dreams can drive you.
Dreams can make you skip over obstacles. When you allow
your dreams to pull you, they unleash a creative force
that can overpower any obstacle in your path. To unleash
this power, though, your dreams must be well defined." By
Jim Rohn |

Knowledge fueled by
emotion equals action. Action is the ingredient that
ensures results. Only action can cause reaction. Further,
only positive action can cause positive reaction. |

Welcome to The Family Supply Line, |
|
|
|
|
|
|
As most Volunteer Works, Charities
and Missions. We are supported primarily from
Concerned Individuals, Companies and other groups.
Some of the ways we have and do receive help in the
present are as follows. |
|
|
1) Companies
"seasonal" or "last Years" stocks of clothing
or various supplies. Computers, Books and
other Educational Type of Materials, Bibles. |
|
|
2)
Individuals good personal unneeded items such as
clothing and even old collector type of items which
can be sold at Charity Bazaars to raise funds for
the work. (Please note that about 80% of the
homeless are looking for work so Suits and Dress Up
type Clothing are very helpful as well.) |
| |
|
3)
Dried or canned foods of all kinds. |
| |
|
4)
Tents, sleeping bags & and
camping equipment. As well as "down" blankets.
(We have had a very hard time passing on futons and
normal blankets? Where as sleeping bags and down
blankets are some of the most wanted items. So we'd
like to mention here that we can no longer receive
futons or blankets. |
| |
|
5) Good furniture
and electrical appliances. The reason I use the
word "good" here is because the homeless obviously
won't be using these items and we will try to resell
them to raise funds for this project. Recycling laws
have changed in Japan and it's hard to sell a washer
or fridge that is 5 years or older. (We've had to
pay 10,000 yen many times to "move" older items on
to "gomi land".) And most people are mainly only
interested in buying good quality expensive
furniture. So it has to be quality over quantity
with these items. |

Sending or Pick up Arrangements |
| |
|
First of all we're just
normal people and have a Job like most of you and
try to do this on our days off. And because of time
and transportation costs we try to handle this as
economically as possible. |
|
|
1) We try to schedule
as many pick-ups as possible into the same day. And
try to drive into Tokyo once or twice a month for
these pick-ups. (Right Now we are in Need of a Truck
as our Truck and Van couldn't pass the new KNOX
"emission laws".) |
|
|
2) If you live "far"
away, sending things is a big blessing for us. You
may have to pay a little for the shipping but I
believe you'll be rewarded for your giving.
If you have any
questions about anything? Please feel free to ask.
And most importantly please keep helping with
supplies. We really appreciate them. |

| A word about
the Homeless. There's the Rich and Middle Class
and OOPS!! What Happened? Many people
lookdown on the Homeless but I'm going to go
Beyond the "there by the Grave of God go I
statement" and say that these people are
Fighters, Courageous and have a Will
to Live and work hard at trying to stay
clean and healthy with limited recourses. Would you
be able to do the same? Many of these are former
company presidents, homeowners, etc that fell into
debt, ill health divorce etc But they Keep Going.
They need and deserve our help. Please do what you
can. |

Ralph Marston says, "Your
limitations are not imposed on you. They are accepted by
you." You are not limited to the life you now live. It
has been accepted by you as the best you can do at this
time. Any time you're ready to go beyond the limitations
currently in your life, you're capable of doing that by
choosing different thoughts. |

God Loves each one as if
they were the Only One. You or I or a Homeless person is
not lost in the Faceless Crowd called Humanity. We're
each unique in His Eyes and only Present Circumstances
(possibly brought on by Illness, Job Layoffs or
Unforeseen Circumstances) make us look at each other
Differently. Someone once wisely said, "If not by the
Grace of God, there go I." |

The whole world loves to
watch those who make things happen, and it rewards
them for causing waves of productive enterprise. |
|

Obstacles
are those frightful things you see when you take your
eyes off the goal. |

Don't envy anybody. Every
person has something no other person has.
Develop that one thing & make it outstanding.
